10 years ago, Jayoon escaped from a government facility in the midst of an inexplicable incident by herself and lost all her memory. An old couple takes her in even though she doesn’t know her name or age. As soon as she appears on TV, strange people start appearing in her life. The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion is about a killer sequence, an intricate plot, and a thriller full of revenge. Combination of brutal action, subtle storytelling and a healthy dose of science fiction, “The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion” focuses on a high school student with amnesia trying to uncover what has happened to her. All lead her into deeper troubles that finally reveal a darkness she cannot imagine.
When Jayoon (Kim DaMi) escaped from a secret government facility when she was eight years old, she collapsed and was found by a husband and wife and then adopted her. Ten years later in the countryside, she lives as a normal teenager, she is very talented in every way. one time she desperately needed money for his mother’s treatment and then she joined a talent show that was broadcast on television. But strange things began to emerge, and soon, Jayoon found herself being chased by characters from the past she no longer remembered.
